Public Engagement

As part of the IRTG2290 PhD training program, science communication and participation in scientific meetings offer students the opportunity to present their own work to both general public and expert audiences, as well as share expertise, and host guest speakers.

Students acquire CPs by participating in scientific events aimed at informing the public, such as the “Long Night of Science” in Berlin, interviewing experts in both locations, or for example during “Science meets Parliament” and "National Science Week" in Canberra.
